The Newport Beach International Boat Show

Get ready to set sail as The Newport Beach International Boat Show (NBIBS) returns this year better than ever! This highly anticipated annual event draws in boat enthusiasts from all corners of the world and is scheduled to take place from April 18-21. Gear up for a four-day celebration of live performances, thrilling activations and an array of luxurious yachts from top manufacturers and brokers in the industry. The NBIBS perfectly captures the essence of Newport Beach‘s luxe coastal lifestyle, boasting an impressive range of on-land and on-water attractions to explore. Earth Day at the Bay

With natural beauty in every nook of our city by the sea, it’s about time we celebrate it! Earth Day is on April 22, and the Newport Bay Conservancy is commemorating the holiday with its Earth Day at the Bay celebration on April 20. This free, family-friendly event will feature hands-on arts and crafts, educational activities, live music and science discovery. Roger’s Gardens Spring Celebration

Experience the joys of spring at Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar at its annual Spring Celebration, taking place from March 22 to May 5. Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race

Taking place April 26-28, the 125-nautical-mile Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race will begin off the Balboa Pier! Each year, sailors gather in Newport Beach to participate in one of the West Coast’s premier regattas, which starts in Newport Beach and ends at the Mexican port city of Ensenada. The race has taken place since 1948 and is one of the most prestigious sailing events on the West Coast, attracting sailors from all around the world. Participants range from amateur sailors to professionals, and the race is known for its unpredictable weather conditions, making it a thrilling event every year.

Comedy Series at THE LOT

Giggle your way into spring at THE LOT at Fashion Island! On April 13, May 11 and June 8, you can catch a comedy show, which is part of their stand-up comedy series featuring hilarious talents from Top Banana Comedy, like Burt Teplitzky, Luz Pazos, Nishy Acsell, Blake Bartee and Bianca Cristovao. OrangewoodFEST at Newport Dunes

Taking place on April 20 at Newport Dunes, OrangewoodFEST invites locals and visitors to gather in the spirit of family, community and giving back. This daytime event is organized by the Orangewood Foundation to aid Orange County’s foster and community youth. Attendees can expect a fundraising challenge, live entertainment, local food vendors and family-friendly activities—the perfect blend of fun and philanthropy!
