Halloween Treats in Newport Beach

October 29, 2020

Trick or TREAT in Newport Beach! One of the things best things about Halloween are all the dangerously delicious treats! And luckily we have the scoop on where to get into the spirit! From Halloween-themed cookies to candy, carve out time to check out these spooktacular sweet spots in Newport Beach!

B.Candy

You can’t miss the colorful and fun storefront of B.Candy while driving down PCH. From homemade ice cream, a wide variety of candy and even a case of delicious cakes, cookies and cupcakes, B. Candy has got what you’re looking for this Halloween! Make sure to pick up their spooky and cute Halloween sugar cookies that the kiddos will love.

Balboa Candy

One of our favorite pastimes is stopping by the nostalgic Balboa Candy stores to pick out an assortment of salt water taffy from their barrels. Stop by either of their locations on Balboa Island or Balboa Village to fill up your basket with seasonal flavors like pumpkin pie, candy corn, smores and cinnamon swirl. With over 70 flavors, your basket will be full before you even know it! If you’re feeling extra spooky, try their assortment of Halloween themed candy like Gummy Teeth, Giant Gummy Snakes and the classic Caramel Apple Pop.

Sugar ‘n Spice

Stop by Sugar ‘n Spice before the month ends to try their featured topping – Trick-or-Treat! Top your frozen banana or Balboa Bar with this combination of Snickers, Twix, Kit Kats, Butterfingers and mini Reese’s Pieces. All of Halloween’s iconic candy topped on an iconic Newport Beach treat!

Atomic Creamery

Looking for an alternative to candy? Stop by Atomic Creamery to try their seasonal flavors available till the end of this month. With fun names and flavors like Oh Canada, Dirty South and our favorite, Basic Bish – a pumpkin pie ice cream with crumb donuts topped with salted caramel drizzle – we don’t blame you if you have trouble deciding which one to get!
