Gratitude Newport Beach French Toast Recipe

Executive Chef Dreux Ellis of Gratitude Newport Beach shares his recipe for his delicious French Toast.

Blend Together:
2 Cups Coconut Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp. Chia Seeds (soaked)
1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
1 Cup Ripe Bananas
Yield: 1 Quart

Soak bread in batter, coating both sides evenly. Fry bread on a lightly oiled pan, until both sides are toasted to a light brown. Top with your favorite vegan butter alternative, maple syrup, or cashew cream and enjoy!
