Get in the spirit a weekend early! The Newport Beach Civic Center will be hosting their annual Easter Egg Roll, March 19th, from 10am-12pm on the Civic Center Lawn. Similar to the White House tradition, children will roll an Easter egg through the grass with a long-handled spoon – spring into action during this festive and playful celebration. Train rides, face painting and Easter crafts will be available for all to enjoy, in addition to a variety of family friendly treats.

The Easter Bunny has taken up residence in the spring garden at Fashion Island, and is available for photos from now until March 26th. With a wide variety of dining options to choose from, Fashion Island is a great locale for a family outing where, you’ll find your favorite rabbit ready to strike a pose with you and your family.

If you’re in search of Easter weekend excitement, the Newport Dunes will continue a 23-year tradition and host its annual egg hunt on Saturday, March 26th. More than six thousand eggs will be hidden, each loaded with candy, toys and cash prizes, and the egg hunt is free and open to the community. In addition, on March 27th, the Back Bay Bistro will be serving up an elaborate Easter Sunday Buffet Brunch complete with the option of bottomless Champagne and mimosas.

Nothing says “Newport Beach Easter” quite like a cloudless sky and a sparkling ocean view, and The Resort at Pelican Hill is the ideal picturesque setting to celebrate the holiday. An Easter egg hunt, visits with the Easter bunny, face painting and balloon shaping – all taking place on the Rotunda Lawn amidst vast Pacific Ocean views, set the scene along with a variety of special Easter menus available throughout the resort.

Easter festivities are perfect for creating long lasting family memories. Your Easter-inspired memory may involve enjoying a delicious meal at favorite restaurant, uncovering the “golden egg” at the neighborhood hunt or inventing creative egg decorating ideas.
