Newport Beach Restaurant Week continues to excite and amaze the herd of diners that decide to hibernate their kitchen utensils and bounce around to enjoy the array of restaurants participating in this highly anticipated community event. Newport Beach Restaurant Week serves up a wide variety of culinary experiences, but one key feature that helps us rise above the rest is the option to dine with a view. People can experience the tantalizing tastes delivered during this two-week period while relishing in the unbeatable Harbor views available at some of Newport’s greatest eateries. Newport Beach is grateful to have, not just one go-to restaurant with Harbor and ocean views, but a long list – casting a wide culinary net and ensuring that a variety of cuisines are represented. Here, we’ll highlight for you some of the Newport Beach Restaurant Week locations that offer dining with a view. 21 Oceanfront has a prime boardwalk location and premier views of the Newport Beach Pier. Pull up a stool at the bar and you’ll experience some of Newport Beach’s greatest sunsets – complimented by a fabulous cocktail. During restaurant week, they are offering a $50 three-course dinner menu. They have five amazing entrees on their menu, paired with starter and dessert options, which you can’t beat. 3-Thirty-3 has a vibe that it touted by so many. Located right on the water, in the midst of some extraordinary yachts, it’s a great stop for your next bite. For this year’s restaurant week, they are offering a two-course, $15 lunch menu and a three-course $30 dinner menu. A few highlights include their Pan-seared Mahi Mahi, Grilled New York Strip Steak and their Lollipop Lamb Chops. The iconic Beachcomber needs very little introduction. It is one of the all-time Crystal Cove favorites and is the perfect weekend escape! They’ll be serving up both lunch and dinner during Newport Beach Restaurant Week. And, you can enjoy both while witnessing the crashing of the ocean waves. Can’t beat that! Billy’s at the Beach lives up to their name with their remarkable harbor side views and their notably tropical drinks. It’s a tiki-tastic spot for catch up with friends, relax, unwind and nestle up close to our favorite Harbor. Bluewater Grill is a long-time favorite and seafood classic. With an outdoor deck inches from the Harbor, you can enjoy your meal while observing the water activities taking place right in their backyard. For $25, at lunchtime, you can indulge in an Ahi Poke Bowl, Angus Burger, some Beer Battered Fish & Chips and much more. For dinner, check out their extensive $40 dinner menu. Dory Deli’s location makes it the perfect stop for a dual-purpose outing – treat yourself to some scrumptious food and head out on a beach walk or boardwalk people-watching adventure. We couldn’t be happier that they’re a Newport Beach Restaurant Week participant again this year. Get excited about their $10 lunch menu and $20 dinner menu! FFly ‘N’ Fish is another boardwalk beloved. This year, on their restaurant week menu, you’ll find their award-winning New England Clam Chowder! Not to mention their $40 dinner menu is four full courses long – you’ll be desperate to make room for those last couple bites of Warm Banana Chocolate Bread Pudding or Classic American Cheesecake. Can’t get much more literal about dining with a view when it comes to this restaurant week participant! This year, Hornblower Cruises & Events will be participating in Newport Beach Restaurant Week and offering up the ultimate luxury dining experience. While cruising the Harbor, diners can enjoy their $50 dinner menu kicked off by a delicious Caesar Salad and followed by both the Panko-Crusted Salmon and the Captain’s Beef Short Ribs. Note that this dinner menu will only be served on Friday and Saturdays of restaurant week. If you can’t make either of those days for dinner, lucky for you, Hornblower will also be offering a champagne brunch menu – also priced at $50. Hip hip hooray for cinnamon sugar beignets! Located in the expansive Marina Park, Lighthouse Bayview Café, is a newcomer to restaurant week this year and really is the perfect example of waterfront dining here in Newport Beach. Both the beach and the bay are just steps from where your food is served. Their very well known, mouth-watering, sugar rolled beignets are featured on their $30 dinner menu. Tackle Box has a $10 lunch menu that provides the perfect excuse for a sunshine stroll and toes in the sand picnic. Tackle Box is a local grub shack at the beach in Corona del Mar. Don’t let the “shack” in their name fool you – this place is the real deal. The food is killer! Work this into your calendar during Newport Beach Restaurant Week and prepare to be amazed.
