New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Ritz Prime Seafood

For those lucky enough to ring in 2017 along Mariner’s Mile, Newport Beach, The Ritz Prime Seafood will feature two different multi-course celebratory dinners created by Chef George Neyra and his talented team. The First Seating and a Five-Course Tasting Menu will be offered from 5 to 7:30 p.m. for those attending later parties or want to welcome the New Year at home. From 8 to 11 p.m. the Second Seating will be a Six-Course Dinner, also highlighted by gourmet delights and a choice of entrees including Wagyu New York Strip, Maine Lobster Pot Pie, Jidori Chicken or John Dory, all with lovely accompaniments. And, along with the delicious fare and waterfront views, there will be live music from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Saturday, December 31: First Seating from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
At the scenic The Ritz Prime Seafood, diners are invited to celebrate their last meal of 2016 by enjoying Chef George Neyra’s tempting New Year’s Eve prix fixe tasting menus. During the First Seating Five-Course Dinner, guests will start with Lobster Salad and then dine on Trofie Pasta with baby artichokes, burrata and Burgundy truffle. The Third Course is Hamachi Crudo with pickled green papaya and the Fourth Course offers a choice of Herb Stuffed Jidori Chicken Breast, Wagyu NY Strip with bordelaise sauce or Maine Lobster Pot Pie – all with creative accompaniments. A choice of Chocolate Tart or White Chocolate Panna Cotta rounds out the celebratory meal.
Price for First Seating is $100 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

New Year’s Eve Six-Course Celebratory Tasting Menu Accompanied by Live Music
Saturday, December 31: Second Seating from 8 to 11 p.m. Live Music from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Six-Course Tasting Menu for the Second Seating at The Ritz Prime Seafood starts with an Oyster Tasting followed by Uni Custard. The Third Course is Chilled Alaskan King Crab with bacon, caviar, parsnip cream and Burgundy truffle vinaigrette.Foie Gras Profiteroles with Calvados black pepper caramel is the Fourth Course. Fifth Course choices are Maine Lobster Pot Pie with black truffle and cognac cream; Wagyu NY Strip with Vidalia onion, fingerling potato and smoked cheddar mash; John Dory with baby carrots, lentils, curry vinaigrette and béarnaise; or Jidori Chicken Breast with cornbread pudding, mustard greens and black pepper sauce. To end this fabulous feast, the chef features either Chocolate Tart with caramel sauce or Fig and Almond Financier with crème fraîche ice cream.
Price for Second Seating is $150 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
