14th Annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week Returns with Record-Breaking Number of

Participating Restaurants in 2020

First-Ever Partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank Encourages Patrons to ‘Dine to Make a Difference’

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. (Dec. 11, 2019) – Newport Beach Restaurant Week, presented by Dine Newport Beach and the Newport Beach Restaurant Association, returns as Orange County’s longest-standing restaurant week, Jan. 13, 2020 for its 14th year. The annual event offers diners prixe-fixe menus for lunch ($10+), dinner ($20+) and weekend brunch ($15+) from Newport Beach restaurants featuring the region’s best and brightest chefs. For the first time, Newport Beach Restaurant Week is partnering with local food bank, Second Harvest, to raise funds to help fight hunger in Orange County.

A record-breaking 74 restaurants will take part in Newport Beach Restaurant Week 2020 with the new addition of weekend brunch! New Restaurant Week participants include:

Second Harvest Food Bank Partnership

Newport Beach Restaurant Week and Second Harvest Food Bank are partnering for the first time introducing ‘Dine to Make a Difference’. During Newport Beach Restaurant Week, diners will have the opportunity to donate to Second Harvest to help local childen and families with hunger. Second Harvest is the largest hunger relief organization in Orange County and feeds over 250,000 people in need each month through more than 300 community partners and programs. Every $1 dollar contributed provides food for 3 meals and donations can be made here.

 

 

Newport Beach Restaurant Kick-Off Event

Kicking off the 14-day event is an intimate tasting event on Thursday, Jan. 9 at Fashion Island’s Lincoln Experience Center. With a limited supply of just 150 tickets available to the public, culinary enthusiasts will be

able to indulge in a variety of event-exclusive dishes created by Fable & Spirit, Provenance, CdM Restaurant, Tavern House Kitchen+Bar, Buddha’s Favorite, Pelican Hill’s Coliseum Pool & Grill and Sgt. Pepperoni’s. Tickets are $50 and includes tastings for each booth and two glasses of wine or beer. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
