Fashion Island’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting
This annual ceremony will take place on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 at 6pm in the Neiman Marcus – Bloomingdale’s Courtyard. After the tree is aglow, enjoy a visit from Santa, a magical snowfall. If you can’t make the ceremony dates, you can see the tree illuminate every evening this holiday season. More details here.
Lighting of the Bay at Newport Dunes
The 28th annual Lighting of the Bay celebration takes place on Friday, November 23 from 3-8 p.m. Families will enjoy live chorale performances, cookie decorating, holiday crafts and train rides. Santa will take center stage at dusk as he arrives by stand-up paddleboard and flips the magic switch to illuminate the bay with more than 50 electric Christmas trees and holiday decorations. An outdoor screening of a “Elf” will wrap up the evening with hot cocoa and cider. More details here.
Crystal Cove 22nd Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Bazaar
Annual Holiday Bazaar and Tree Lighting take place on Saturday, December 1 at 10:30 am – 5:30pm. The tree lighting ceremony begins at dusk. As Santa and strolling carolers join the event, complimentary hot chocolate, apple cider and home- baked goodies will be provided by The Beachcomber Café. More details here.

110th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
The 110th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade makes its way through the Newport Harbor this December, with its parade route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The parade will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night from December 19 – 23. More details here.
Ring of Lights
Serving as the backdrop for the hundreds of lighted boats in the 110th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is the annual “Ring of Lights” contest, hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. Beautifully decorated bayside homes and businesses surrounding the harbor go “all out” with their own holiday spirit, featuring everything from roof-top animated scenes to dancing Christmas trees.
