Dock & Dine To Go
One of the unique and fascinating things about visiting Newport Beach is exploring the harbor and enjoying the Dock & Dine experience at several restaurants. But you don’t have to eat inside the restaurant to enjoy the experience. Some of the restaurants prepare a meal for you to take out on the harbor!
SOL Cocina
Calling their service SOL on a Roll, SOL Cocina’s to-go options include house-made tostadas, borracho black bean dip, chipotle tomatillo salsa, limes, chile de arbol hot sauce and salt.
Here are the five kits that can be ordered:
•Azul — build your own SOL tacos, with fresh salsas and guacamole
•Balboa — SOL’s award-winning tacos, freshly made with ceviche, guacamole, and salsas.
•Catalina — a generous spread of favorite SOL antojitos, tacos, & guacamole
•SOL Del Mar Mariscos — impeccably fresh ceviche, crudo, cocktel & favorite SOL antojitos
•Tacos SOL — build-your-own tacos with 4 choices, Vampiros, black beans, guacamole & freshly made salsas.
The kits serve between 6-10 people. Of course if you just want to order off the main menu, you can do that too.
You can add drinks to your meal like SOL’s house margaritas or ice-cold Mexican beer If you prefer wine, SOL’s wine list is available.
Just place your order 45 minutes prior to pick up and you have your meal. The service is available 7 days a week from 11:30am to 10pm.
The Cannery Seafood of the Pacific
The Cannery offers a variety of options including smaller plates and platters for larger groups, as well as sushi options.
•Small plate options include charcuterie, hummus plate, chicken and shrimp meatballs, cheese plate, chicken satay, Korean BBQ beef skewers, steamed pork belly buns, or shrimp cocktail for two.
•Platters for approximately 25 people include several options like vegetable antipasto, seasonal fruit, cheese board, Mediterranean Mezze Dips, Cannery Oysters, charcuterie, Korean BBQ beef skewers, chicken satay, and chilled shrimp cocktail
•Sushi Options (available after 4pm) include a sushi roll plate which includes three rolls, sushi roll platter (50 pieces), or sashimi platter (50 pieces)
Desserts and drinks are also available for you to enjoy on your cruise.
