Father’s Day in Newport Beach

June 1, 2015

Father’s Day couldn’t come during a better time of year; summer is starting, school is wrapping up, and the weather just beckons you to go on a beach getaway. Newport Beach hotels and resorts will make sure your Father’s Day weekend is full of fun!

Balboa Bay Resort is holding the 8th Annual Father’s Day Car and Vintage Motorcycle Show where you can check out an incredible selection of cars as well as try delicious food and drinks. You can also head to Waterline for a barbecue brunch with a bay view.

If your dad is a golfer, stay at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach and play the Back Bay Golf Course while taking in scenic views of the Upper Newport Bay. Family, fun and 9-holes make for a great holiday.

Newly renovated, the Newport Beach Marriott Bayview just opened its brand new restaurant, Vista.Kitchen.Bar. Dine indoors or al fresco as you overlook the Back Bay while enjoying local flavors and signature cocktails. Once you are done, the family can take a nature walk on the Back Bay Trail and enjoy each others company.

Fairmont Newport Beach wants to get you in the summer spirit this Father’s Day with their SoCal Staycation package.  And as a Father’s Day treat, the breakfast buffet will be extended until 1:00 p.m., perfect for those dads who just want the gift of rest and relaxation.

Want dad to pick out his own present? Stay at the Island Hotel or the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa and treat him to a shopping day at Fashion Island. Both properties are located steps away from Orange County’s premiere outdoor shopping experience. Treat dad to a delicious steak dinner after at Sam & Harry’s steak house at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, or enjoy Aqua Lounge’s fireside happy hour at the Island Hotel.

The Resort at Pelican Hill offers an unforgettable getaway for Father’s Day. In addition to golf on its two Tom Fazio designed courses, a Father’s Day Brunch Buffet will be available at the Coliseum Pool & Grill and a special brunch at Pelican Grill.

Your Father’s Day weekend will be one for the books in Newport Beach!
