If you’re a last-minute Lucy when it comes to planning Christmas dinner, don’t fret! Some of Newport Beach’s best restaurants are cheffing up for you this year. And with options to dine-in or take your feast to-go, you’re sure to find the perfect Christmas meal that meets you and your family’s needs. So before you create a mile-long grocery list and try to cook everything yourself, check out these six delicious holiday menus! Leave the cooking to the pros this season—it’s what they do best.

Five Crowns

Eager to skip the cooking and cleaning this year? Five Crowns in Corona del Mar is offering a delectable Christmas menu chock-full of all your favorites. With starters like lobster bisque soup and their jumbo shrimp cocktail and mains like roasted prime rib, filet mignon, Colorado lamb chops and more, you and your family are sure to be satisfied. Don’t miss out on their selection of signature sides, which include creamed corn, creamed spinach, green beans, Brussels sprouts, StilCheddar mac n’ cheese and mashed potatoes.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

For those in search of a fancy feast, they don’t have to cook this Christmas, check out Fleming’s extensive catering menu! With everything from appetizers like crab cake bites and prosciutto-wrapped shrimp to warm entrees like roasted beef tenderloin, barbecue Scottish salmon and chickpea and eggplant croquette, there’s truly something for everyone this holiday! Be sure to take a peek at their dessert menu, too—Fleming’s two-layer cake with cream cheese frosting and caramel sauce is a must!

Rothschild’s Restaurant

If you’re playing host this Christmas and you know you have some long hours ahead of you in the kitchen, ease the stress with a meal out on Christmas Eve at Rothschild’s Restaurant! This authentic Italian eatery in Corona del Mar has been a local’s favorite since 1997 and continues to please the palates of all who dine here. This Christmas Eve, you and your family can enjoy a three-course, pre-fixe meal that includes your choice of starter, entree and dessert. Think veal and ricotta meatballs, lobster ravioli, Sangiovese braised short rib, pistachio pesto fettuccine and more!

City Cruises by Hornblower

Looking to switch things up this Christmas Eve? Climb aboard and enjoy a decadent dinner on the water with City Cruises! This vessel/event company is hosting a festive Christmas Eve dinner cruise, which includes a 2.5-hour cruise along Newport Beach, a delicious holiday buffet dinner, DJ entertainment and a fully-stocked cash bar. This cruise will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 and is the perfect way to create new traditions this year!

Marché Moderne

Enjoy a Christmas Eve dinner California-style…on the sand! Marché Moderne is hosting a Christmas Eve dinner in Crystal Cove that you won’t want to miss. The meal includes a three-course meal with dessert. The first course will feature a shallot and winter squash potage, followed by a second course with your choice of diver scallops quenelle, betteraves, diced tuna, endive or six oysters on the half shell. Then, move onto mains like roasted lamb ribeye, Maine black sea bass, king crab and nouvelle Caledonia prawns or bistro de luxe roasted beef filet. Finish the evening off on a sweet note with your choice of four French desserts! The dinner costs $169 per person, with the option to add on a wine pairing for $60.

The Bungalow CDM

Make it a Christmas Eve to remember at The Bungalow in Corona del Mar! From 3-9 p.m. on Dec 24, The Bungalow will serve up a three-course meal with your choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Choose between main dishes like miso-marinated Chilean sea bass, bone-in short ribs, Northern Australian lobster tail and more. Can’t make it on Christmas Eve? The Bungalow is also offering a New Year’s Eve menu from 4-11 p.m. on Dec 31 that includes three courses plus a champagne toast at midnight. Don’t miss out!
