Wilma’s Patio and The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity are teaming up of offer a delightful opportunity for adults on Tuesday evenings this fall with hands-on creative experimentation and home style dining.

Using our creativity is an exceptional cognitive exercise for our brains and the best defense against Alzheimer’s disease. When we combine creativity with using our hands while visually engaged, we use multiple areas of our brain all at once. Food for thought.

October 6- NOTAN- cut paper design
October 13- COLLAGE – narratives of past, present and future
October 20 – CLAY MOLDING – 3D creatures using air dry clay and Magic Nuudles
October 27- OBSERVATIONAL SKETCHING- techniques to enhance visual perception
November 3- JUNK ASSEMBLAGE – collaborative 3D works created from recycled materials
November 10- THE ART OF DOODLE – drawing games and exercises for every day practice

Workshops will be hosted on the Patio beginning at 6 pm until 7:30 The 6 week workshop series Pre-Registration fee is $90. This fee includes instruction and all materials. Registration is limited to 30. Walk-ins will be welcomed based on space availability each week for $20. Ask your hostess for registration forms or sign up on our website: www.chuckjonescenter.org Each Tuesday during the workshop series, Wilma’s will have delicious Dinner Specials available for workshop participants at 5pm before each workshop in the main dining area. Beverage service during our workshops will also be available.
