Beginning July 19, Fashion Island is partnering with Orange County’s beloved Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters for a special event series this summer. From noon to 3 p.m., the Bloomingdale’s Courtyard lawn will be filled with works from Festival of Arts’ artists who will be showcasing their craft.
Additionally, a “live” statue from the famed Pageant of the Masters’ “tableaux vivants” will be on display – marking the first time a live statue will be exhibited to the general public offsite. The theme for the 2015 Pageant of the Masters, “The Pursuit of Happiness,” will explore the many sources of happiness, both ancient and modern through a unique, theatrical production of “living pictures.”
Shoppers can also enjoy complimentary light bites and refreshments from Wahoo’s, Canaletto, Great Maple and other Fashion Island restaurants as they enjoy art on display. The following week, from noon to 3 p.m. July 26, the Atrium lawn will transform into a creative playground for children with free arts & crafts activities, as well as Nespresso coffee tastings.
