This February, the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) will proudly partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to define the true spirit of hospitality. This unprecedented effort will collectively raise funds to support vital research for a cure and to provide financial, educational and social services for individuals affected by blood cancer during a month-long fundraising campaign beginning February 1, 2015. The campaign goal is to raise 1,000,000. Fairmont Newport Beach is proud to announce its partnership with LLS and has pledged to raise $10,000. Fairmont Newport Beach will host several fundraising activities throughout February, including an art exposition and sale by Galerie Moderne and a fundraising breakfast and auction.
A 10% contribution will be made to LLS for any acquisitions made from the Galerie Moderne art collection at Fairmont Newport Beach in the month of February. Galerie Moderne is pleased to curate an exclusive collection of works on paper by 20th century European Modern Masters from Renoir to Picasso for the cause.
On Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Fairmont Newport Beach will be sponsoring a fundraising breakfast and auction. Auction items include local activities, hotel accommodations in Santa Monica, Berkeley and Vancouver and a family fun package at Newport Dunes.
