Concerts & Costume Party on the Coast at Balboa Inn

September 13, 2013

The Balboa Inn has an exciting month planned including a free dynamic country covers concert and a Halloween costume party.

If you rock out to country music, corral your friends and bring them to the October 6th show featuring Redneck Rodeo. The so-called outlaws of Honky Tonk Tribute sing cover songs from artists like Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Kenny Chesney and many others. The show starts at 3pm.

Just steps from the water, the newly remodeled Balboa Inn is a place where casual beachside ambiance and classic Old World charm combine in a historic landmark.

As if the awesome views and fresh ocean air aren’t enough to soothe your soul, the music will certainly help you unwind — along with good food and drinks.

The newly remodeled boutique inn features two ocean view terraces, an ocean view sun deck with hot tub, and 34 intimate rooms.

Book a room and make it a Sunday into Monday getaway and enjoy dinner after the show at the hotel’s Sienna Italian Restaurant.

Enjoy a moonlit stroll the sand or continue the adventure at one of the many bars and restaurants on the peninsula that offer great nightlife.

If costumes are more your calling, start planning your look for the early Halloween celebration October 30th at the Balboa Inn.

The costume party will be held in the evening in an indoor/outdoor setting at the Balboa Inn. The adults-only (21+) event will be certain to be a blast and there will be prizes for the best costumes. There is a $5 cover charge.

There will be food and drink options for purchase at both events… and those interested in attending can make it a staycation at the Balboa Inn.

Room packages are available for people attending the concert or the Halloween party.    Guests can email the Balboa Inn’s Event Coordinator Lisa Harmon at event@balboainn.com or call her direct at (949) 675-3412.

I have no idea if I’m going to go as something scary… or something more representative of current events, but either way, I have less than a month to start my costume planning.
