Giant blue whales were once considered quite rare off Newport Beach in southern California, but over the last five years this has changed dramatically with hundreds-thousands of giant blue whales spotted each year. Our interactive early childhood program (ages 2-5) presented in the Sea of Adventure exhibit includes crafts, touch tanks, and a gallery tour. Each Sea Tales has a unique marine theme for children to discover. Sea Tales takes place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:45am to 11:00am.
