Whole Foods Market Opened in Newport Beach!

Whole foodsThe first Newport Beach Whole Foods Market opened its doors at Fashion Island in September, marking the grocer's fifth Orange County location. This 32,000 square foot Whole Foods Market will be the first of its kind with the launch of Back Bay Tavern, which will have 24 craft beers on tap, wine and spirits accompanied with meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan dining options.

Also included is the Tea Hive Fusion Café and Bar, a tea drinkers can choose from a variety of teas anyway you want it - frozen, sparkling, steaming hot or over ice. Whole Foods, no stranger to sustainability, salvaged wood from old canneries in Northern California for its infrastructure.

Pearson's Port LobsterIf you're seeking to load-up on healthy Omega 3 Fatty Acids, you can't beat the fresh seafood pulled straight out of the ocean and available daily via the Dory Fishing Fleet and Pearson's Port. Open 7 days a week, weather permitting, the Dory fishermen launch their dory boats through the surf as early as 2 am to pursue the day's catch. They return to shore around 7 am with the early morning's catch. On weekends and holidays, customers line-up at the boats to purchase these coveted fish.

At Pearson's Port, a family-run business for three generations, this sunrise fish market bustles on weekends with customers ready to snap up seasonal fish (halibut, white sea bass, yellowtail, swordfish, salmon, tuna, and lobster (in season).
