Newport Beach is famous for its diverse selection of summer day camps, where kids can learn to build robots, surf waves, dance, sing, make movies, and more. And, our summer day camps aren't just for locals. In fact, more and more vacationing families are taking advantage of these entertaining and enriching experiences, enrolling their children in summer day camp. It's a win-win - kids have fun in the sun (or even in the science lab), while mom and dad enjoy some R&R.

Camp James

The non-profit Newport Sea Base offers weekly and day camps focusing on maritime-based programs, including sailing, sailboat racing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water safety skills and much more.  For more information click here.


The Environmental Nature Center has offered Summer Nature Camps since 1977! Nature Camp provides quality science education in an outdoor, hands-on setting. Campers learn while having a great time! For more information click here.

Check out the "Kids Klub" at the Fairmont Newport Beach! Activities include crafts, games, amusements, cookie decorating, interactive classes and more. Theme days include Adventure Seekers whichoffers fun lawn games and other sports-inspired activities and Pirate Party featuring pirate-y events such as a special treasure hunt throughout the property.

ExplorOcean is pleased to offer half day summer camp programs for ocean explorers ages 8-12. Each week, participants will enjoy activities related to the Ocean Literacy principles and 21st Century learning.Through exploration, excursions, and hands-on activities, kids will learn about the ocean and the world around them from multiple perspectives.
