Plenty of Hops this Spring at the Balboa Craft Beer Festival in Balboa Village

March 21, 2016

After a sell-out crowd converged on Balboa Village last November, we’re ready to host our second Craft Beer Festival.

Join us at Balboa Village on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm! Just steps from the ferry, this event will once again be host to a dozen different breweries and abundant food samples from our favorite restaurants on the Balboa peninsula.

The event will include live music from “The Strangers” (and, yes, with Greg Peters on guitar). There will be giant Jenga board games, a photo booth, raffles, and more. It will be one big party!

Unlimited tastings will be available from at least a dozen breweries, for example: Elysian Brewing Company, Kona Brewing, Bootlegger’s, Goose Island and Hanger 24, just to name a few.

And we can’t drink beer without enjoying some delicious food, right? Local restaurants will be there too, and samples will be aplenty, from your favorites such as: Balboa Bar-B-Que, Cruisers Pizza Bar Grill, Ruby’s, Harborside Restaurant, Newport Landing and The Trough Sandwich Kitchen.
