Don’t let this heat wave fool you, for the seasonal October haunts in the spirit of Halloween are truly still upon us. Our very own city of Newport Beach has got all of the spooky festivities and frightful fun for everybody this Hallows’ season. Whether you are looking for some good old fashioned family fun, an all-adult Halloween extravaganza, or possibly looking to mix a little bit of each into your cauldron this season, you’ve come to the right place. This is your ultimate 2015 Halloween season roundup full of tricks and treats (alright, alright…pretty much just the treats) in Newport Beach:

TEN NIGHT CLUB HALLOWEEN BASH XV – GRAND FINALE
OCTOBER 24TH: TEN NIGHT CLUB
After 15 years, Ten Night Club is sun setting their Annual Halloween Bash put on by Turtle Events / Perez Bros. This notoriously large Halloween celebration is sure to be full of brooding surprises and festive haunts, so get your costume ready early this year. This party is expected to run from 9 PM until the creaking morning hour of 2AM, but get there before 10:30 PM to ensure free entry and to indulge in potion-libation specials. The first 150 bewitched guests are said to receive a complimentary adult party grab bag.

OCTOBER 30TH: FUN ZONE AT EXPLOROCEAN, NEWPORT BEACH
Expect to see many ghostly creatures at the 4th Annual Family Fright Zone Friday Halloween event, from 5 PM until 8 PM. The Balboa Fun Zone is known to dress up in it’s bone-chilling best each Halloween season, which provides the perfect atmosphere for all of the witches, ghosts, and monsters to snag a bag full of trick-or-treat candy. Spooky storytelling, creepy crafts, festive face-painting, live entertainment, and thrilling lab activities will be wildly available for the whole family to enjoy.

OCTOBER 31ST, ALL HALLOWS EVE: AQUA LOUNGE AT THE ISLAND HOTEL
Get stranded this Halloween down at the Aqua Lounge at the Island Hotel, leaving everything behind besides your best sailing attire and the bevy of drinks behind the shipwrecked bar. Brace yourselves to enjoy an evening of live DJ mixes, quality handcrafted cocktails to compliment a to-die-for menu of gourmet bites, and of course costume contest. Be creative, channeling an original costume or island chic, to win some pirate-worthy buried treasure.

The ship officially wrecks at 9PM and is sure to sail quickly into the witching hour, until as early as 1 AM. The Island Hotel realizes that safety is of the utmost importance, and since being shipwrecked can leave you stranded, they have offered to make your night an unforgettable one with luxurious overnight accommodations starting at $239, including entry for two to SHIPWRECKED, as well as complimentary overnight parking for one vehicle.
If however you decide to abandon ship, the shipwrecked cover is $25 per person, which includes one complimentary drink, and reservations are in fact required.
