Enjoy Special Thursday Evening “Shop & Dines” In Corona Del Mar

Corona del Mar was bestowed the name “Crown of the Sea.” It is a special enclave here in Newport Beach and is now famous for its beaches & tide pools, dramatic cliff-side views and charming village shops, high-end boutiques and restaurants.

As summer approaches and longer days are before us, Corona del Mar has created a wonderful way for guests to celebrate this quaint town. Every third Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm guests can enjoy shopping, dining and exclusive special offerings. So, mark your calendars for these special dates: April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20, November 17 and December 15. As we turn to sparklers, these three jewelers will be looking forward to welcoming you in! Golden Touch Jewelers designs unique custom jewelry, has on-site repair and appraisal services. They are family-owned artisanal jewelers. Mark Patterson Jewelry features both a showroom and studio. Mark is well-known for his bridal and couture custom jewelry and use of colorful gemstones which he searches the world to secure. He and his team of on-site jewelers are celebrating 30 years in the industry. The Del Brenna Jewelry family continues to uphold the tradition of jewelry making started by their grandfather in the early 1900’s in Cortona, Italy. They also incorporate jewels, chains, gold and silver into shoes, cufflinks and other handcrafted gift items and accessories.

Also participating is The Studio Salon & Blow-Dry Bar featuring Yanni Daskalakis, a master hair designer and educator. And for those looking for some sweet treats, Sweet Lady Jane has a display case filled daily with delicious bakery items. They also do beautiful wedding cakes, imaginative celebration cakes and special orders. This is their fourth location in Southern California.

Beginning their participation in May, Sherman Library and Gardens is a special spot to meander. Sitting on 2.2 acres, this Corona del Mar landmark is a horticultural retreat. The Gardens provide a museum of living plants in a setting of immaculate gardens, patios and conservatories linked together by wide brick walkways, blooming beds and pristine tile fountains.
