Christmas Can’t Miss: Balboa Island’s over-the-top decorated homes! Homeowners go “all out” with their holiday home decorations. Don’t miss the themed out décor, everything from roof-top animated scenes to dancing Christmas trees. Walk the perimeter of the island to see the magical homes along Newport Harbor.

Balboa Village:
Balboa Village is located on Balboa Peninsula on the harborfront. The area boasts a rich American history and serves as a charming harbor for locals and visitors. Quaint shops, beachy boutiques, and family-friendly restaurants make Balboa Village the ideal place for a day out with your loved ones.

Corona del Mar:
Corona del Mar in Spanish means “Crown of the Sea” and undoubtedly, CdM (as locals call it) is a jewel of Newport Beach the shopping scene. You’ll be able to walk along shop-lined Pacific Coast Highway, which makes for a walkable and convenient shopping destination.

Fashion Island:

Christmas Can’t Miss: Every night at 5pm until January 5, 2014, enjoy the lighting of Fashion Island’s 90 foot tree, Disney style, as it comes to life with Disney holiday music and glittering lights!

Mariner’s Mile:
Located between Balboa Peninsula’s entrance and Dover Drive, is the scenic stretch of Pacific Coast Highway. This lovely shopping destination boasts an immaculate harborfront shopping experience!

Come to Mariner’s Mile for a mix of apparel and home goods stores and all your big splurges – yacht brokers, car dealerships and famed boutique A’maree’s.

Christmas Can’t Miss: You have to see the beautiful Balboa Bay Resort transformed for the holidays. From décor gracing the entire property to a giant Christmas tree in the porte-cochere.  Also, from December 1st – 23rd from 2:00pm – 4:30pm, there is holiday afternoon high tea in the library.
